I'm an addict

Hello, my name is Lisa and I am addicted to SHOES!! I don't know what it is about shoes but I love them. The perfect pair of shoes can make a whole outfit. And when I am out shopping and can't seem to find anything I like I can always find a good pair of shoes. I am especially excited about a new find of mine. Target has the cutest shoes online! You can find a few cute ones at the store but their selection online is terrific! I love that I don't have to spend a ton of money on shoes anymore. Brandon thinks I have a serious problem because I always have to shop the shoe aisle. Every purchase is met with the same question....What outfit are you going to wear with those? Truthfully, most of the time I do not know and inevitably this leads to a bigger dilemma of trying to find an outfit to go with my new shoes. But in the end it's worth it! I can't wait until I have a place in the new house where I can display my shoes, making them easier to find, instead of throwing them into a huge jumbled pile in the bottom of my closet where they are now. (It is basically a black hole... I can never find the pair I am looking for). I am so excited that spring is around the corner. It is my favorite shoe season.

These babies came home with me the other day...again, I'm not sure what I'm going to wear them with.

Hopefully, these ones will be joining my family shortly!

My knight in shining armor

I have a knight in shining armor. He comes racing in on his white horse to play dolls, change diapers, give baths, watch America's Funniest Home Video and Wizard of OZ (over and over and over), play countless hours of Wii, help with homework, read bedtime stories and even do battle with a few contractors when needed. He has saved this damsel in distress many times and gives me breaks when I need them. He is the most selfless person I know and the best husband and father. I sure do LOVE my knight!

Two story family with my FIREPLACE!!

A barrel ceiling in my entry way. Picture this...brick in a herringbone pattern with my entry light in the middle. I am so excited this part of the house! I am actually excited for every part but I think this will be especially cool!

Cabinet Samples - All of these are incorporated into my kitchen and pantry. Brandon is kind of worried about it but I have it all figured out. (In my head at least!)

2008 was the year we took Megan's binkies away. (During the day at least) Before that you could always tell she was tired because she would put her binkies in her eyes. And she always has to have at least 3 of them.

We have an escapee!!

I knew this day would come and I have been dreading it for awhile now. Megan has finally learned how to climb out of her crib. It started two days ago. Imagine my surprise when I put her in time out and turned around a few minutes later and saw her standing there. After that she thought she was pretty cool. She doesn't mind going to time out anymore because she knows she can just climb right out. Bed time has been especially challenging!! How many times do I have to put her back in bed?!? Then, after I finally get her to go to sleep she wakes up in the middle of the night and is in our bed before I know it. When we move into our new house she is going to have a big girl bed. Maybe..just maybe...she will like it enough to sleep in her own bed. If not...maybe I can sleep through the night when she is 12.
