meet the newest member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints

It was a beautiful day with my beautiful boy.

it is a tradition that Grandma Becky makes all her grandkids baptism quilts. dallin was so excited to get his.

i don't want to loose this memory...

the main reason i do this blog is to preserve memories. and for some reson today i remembered a memory with dallin and wanted to write it down so i will never forget...

when he was 4 i would pick him up from preschool and we would play 'i spy' everyday on the way home.
one day...
he said "i spy something green and sticky."
me "hmmm....grass?"
dallin "no"
but he is laughing so hard in the back seat i can hardly understand him
me "hmm...a tree"
dallin "no mom. it's green and sticky!"
me "i don't know. i give up. what is it?
dallin " a booger!"
me "yeah...i guess you're right. a booger is green and sticky."
dallin "no mom, i picked a booger and flicked it in your hair!!"

needless to say i wasn't very happy about having a booger in my hair but his laughter was so contagious that we both laughed hysterically about it. to this day i can not play a game of 'i spy' without remembering it! dallin at 4 years old
